The Park

Today we got up and had some breakfast, everyone was showered and got dressed. We packed a lunch and headed down to the park and played. We collected some leaves and had a picnic. We had a great time but it was a little on the cold side. After we went to look at Halloween costumes we didn't find anything though.

Swimming

I forgot my camera both yesterday and today when we went swimming.
We went yesterday and we seen someone I play darts with and his daughter at the pool. It took Taylor forever but she finally went and played with little Nikkie and they had so much fun. All Taylor did was ask when she could go see her again.
So today we ate supper then went to the pool and Nikkie was there along with her little cousin Marlee (Taylor is in gymnastics with Marlee) all three girls had a blast playing together and Eastynn had a blast playing with me or Fabian.
Both girls went down the slide today, Taylor even went on the rope, and believe it or not both girls went on the diving board. Taylor went on and walked off but it didn't take her long to get the courage to try again and then we couldn't keep her off the diving board. Eastynn on the other hand wanted to go got scared but Fabian lowered her as low as he could and dropped her and I was at the bottom to catch her I was so proud. Then we came home and made sundaes with sprinkles, whip cream, and cherries. Had a quick bath, a bed time story, and bedtime.

Taylor's thoughts this week,
"Mommy why did you buy 2 girls?"
I say "What do you mean?"
Taylor says "From the Hospital me and Eastynn why did you pick us?"
I say "you grew in my tummy I just went to the hospital so they could take you 2 out."


Then today
"Mommy how did me and Eastynn get in your tummy?"
I say "God put you there." aiaiai Where does she come up with this stuff

Straightened

I know most people would die for Eastynn's hair but I had to just see what it would look like straight and I love it not as much as the curls though maybe its just the fact it looks done and isn't in her face as much. I really love when Taylor's is straight too and mine for that matter. I may do this once in a blue moon but not very often.


Anyway not much has happened this week. Today the dogs are getting clipped. Fabian has his going away party tonight hopefully he won't be to hurting tomorrow.

Eastynn's First Day At Gymnastics

Today was a pretty special day. Eastynn had her first day at gymnastics SHE LOVED IT and it made me so happy to see her having such a great time and actually being really good at it for her age. Almost brought tears to my eyes I hope to one day get some better pictures I was so excited for her today I couldn't be bothered to take pictures, but thankfully my mom got some. I was so proud of her she listened and she took turns. At one point we were all sitting getting directions and she stands up and says OK I will start. To cute.

I think gymnastics maybe there sport, Eastynn will definitely have the height for it and while Taylor maybe a little tall for a gymnast she certainly is stubborn enough to make sure she perfects what she does.

I forgot about last Saturday

Last Saturday we went to the co-op and area grand opening. We went to M&M's and got stuff for a BBQ. Went and rented some games from Blockbuster. They also had a BBQ so we got some hamburger and hot dogs and had lunch with Daniel and Linda. They had a bunch of mascots there. The mascots were dancing and Eastynn was inching her way to them she eventually made it up to the mascots unfortunately it was at the end of the song so she didn't get to dance. She did get some high fives and hugs though after that Taylor realized it wasn't so scary. Later Dan and Linda came over for a BBQ and we played wii for awhile it was a good time and needs to be done more often.

Gymnastics

Yesterday was Taylor's first day at gymnastics. She really enjoyed it I watched her do most of the things and it is amazing how great her attention to detail is, I just wish it was when she is listening to me. I think this is going to be something she really enjoys and hopefully will stick with. Eastynn starts tomorrow. I think today I am going to take the kids to the library its my turn.

I almost forgot one of my favorite moments as a mom so far. On the way to gymnastics Taylor and I were just talking and she said "Mommy I am going to get you a very special birthday present."
I said "Oh yeah what are you gonna get me."
She said "Papa"
I said "I liked the one I had before and he is the only one I ever want"
She said "That's okay I will just go to the hospital and buy you the same one as before."
I instantly had my eyes well up with tears and I said "oh Thank you honey but I don't think we can do that, I wish we could but we just can't."
Oh how I wish we could do that.

Friday

On Friday we made cookies in the morning.

In the afternoon we went swimming, which I wasn't so sure about Taylor had got sick the night before. We had fun but Taylor got sick as we were getting ready to leave.

In the evening we went to the movie as a family and with Becky and Brooklynne.

It was a great day all in all

Tues, Wed, Thurs

On Tuesday there was a whole lot of nothing going on till after supper. I had 2 go pick up some stuff for darts and then Fabian and I had a meeting at Taylor's school. *YAWN*

On Wednesday we took Taylor to school and me and Eastynn ran around all day doing chores. Then after school the family attended a school BBQ which was nice it was so HOT though the entire week was 30+.

On Thursday we took Taylor to school then I picked up mom and we went to church for Taylor's back to school mass. Then we did some running around for the day. Then picked up Taylor and then we came home and just relaxed had a bath and went to bed.

Taylor is really enjoying kindergarten. Her teacher said she is doing really well and really having a good time with the other girls. Only 6 girls and 19 boys.

Monday, Sept 14

On Monday Fabian had his 2 year cancer check up and thank the Lord he is still cancer free. Now if only Brian can follow in his footsteps that would be amazing. On monday Fabian also got word that he got a new job at school district 76, which is the seperate school board.

Me and the girls didn't do much we went out for supper with Becky and Brooklynne to McDonalds which all the girls really enjoyed.

Taylor's First Day At School

So today was a big day my babies first day at school. She was so excited and cute she had her shoes all packed in her back pack and her lunch. She also had her thermos packed all this by 8am and school doesn't start till 8:40 we left the house a touch to early this morning so we waited for like 20 minutes for the bell to ring. I got a little teary eyed this morning but I held back the tears but the day isn't over yet. I am very excited to hear how her first day. I am sure she is having a blast.

Sunday Bowling

On Sunday after swimming we came home and had supper then headed out to bowl. We bowled 2 games and instead of playing with both Eastynn and Taylor when it was Taylor's turn, Eastynn would throw one ball and Taylor would throw 2, then the next shot Taylor would throw one and Eastynn would throw 2. They like bowling for the first 3 frames and Eastynn was into her drink and then a slush. Taylor was into all the candy machine and her slush.....and Tyler. She told me while bowling when we got home from bowling she had to have a wedding before bed. I asked her who was getting married and she said me and Tyler. For how much she hung off him and needed to be with him all the time that this is her very first crush. Poor guy never got a minute to himself all weekend. I think I ended up winning both games we played. I won the second game in the last frame we were all very close it was a lot of fun.

Sunday Swimming

On Sunday afternoon we went swimming at Crestwood pool again. It is not near as fun as the leisure center. Taylor can only touch for about 3 steps into the pool and then its to deep for her. I am pretty sure Eastynn's favorite part of swimming there is the shower. We went with Jason and Tyler and Grandma came and watched. Taylor did jump of the starting blocks for swimming she doesn't realize it is just inches lower then the diving board she refused to go on.

Echodale, hair, and Shauna's birthday party

On Saturday Jason and Tyler were finally here. So we go up and we went shopping to have a picnic we were just going to go back to Centeral Park since they had both a waterpark and park. The water part wasn't working so we ate our lunch and headed out to Echodale we were going to first start off the the petting zoo but that too was closed. Just couldn't seem to catch a break.
The girls had fun playing on the playgrounds and making sand castle, Taylor went in the water with the boys but Eastynn and I found it a bit to cold so we hung out with Grandma on the blanket.
After we left and came home I gave the girls a bath while Jay cut Grandma's hair. She looks great with her new do. Taylor got her hair braided after it took a couple times to get it right. Jay did it once and it didn't work so he took the elastic out put it with his hair supplies and re did her hair then asked her for the elastic. They found one but not the one they used before. They talked about where it could have possibly went and Taylor turned to Jay and said "It didn't just get up and walk away on its own."
She is so funny some days.
I drove Grandma home after that then went to Shauna's birthday it was a good time but didn't stay to long.
Then came home and played the wii with the boys for awhile which was a lot of fun

Friday Night

Friday night after supper we went out for ice cream with Grandma Mellor the girls really enjoyed it. After we went to Centeral Park and played for a little while. They loved the park. After the park we drove grandma home and came home and played some board games it was a fun night for just the girls

gearing up for school

Funny little story.
Today we were sitting watching tv. Taylor in her own world of course and out of the blue she said...."If you need me I'll be in my dressing room."
The kid says the funniest things and I will continue to use this cause I am sure I will lose a few of the funny ones through out the years.

This weekend should be another busy one, at least I hope it is busy enough to keep the girls tired. Friday after work Fabian will be going home to visit his parents. The girls and I would love to go but considering we have worked so hard to get them on a sleep schedule for school I am not sure the weekend right before her very first day of school is the best time to do it. So we are going to make a couple day trips to Elkwater. Hopefully that will help get them to sleep easier.

We are getting excited for the new school year to start. Taylor met her teacher the other day and she really liked her. Taylor I am sure will be pooped for the first little while but she seems to adapt really well. Eastynn I think will be really lost without Taylor but the down time will be ideal for potty training which should have been long gone by now but hopefully she will get it quickly. Also going to try and make her nap a little more often even if its just for an hour I think will really help her. And mommy well she is going to start working out and cutting out the pepsi right away. Then the healthy foods will hopefully follow.
