Weekly Update

I went and played in an open singles (men and women)tournament on Saturday. I played better than usual but I didn't play well when I needed to. There were 15 people and I finished 5th in my section and got knocked out first round. But still made $20 because they payed out top 2 women. So that kind of rocked. I'm also going to get my hair cut this week cause the weight is giving me headaches.

Now Fabian he is doing good. As most of you know if you read his blog his hair is gone now. But he has been getting some golfing done. "The girls" bought him a golf pass for father's day so I think this year he has been out 4 times so far.

Taylor is doing good one a few accidents this week. She is talking really well now too pretty much full sentences. She is start to catch on to the fact that everyone has there own name. Instead of calling everyone Si which we figured out was scotty.

Eastynn is doing really well too. She is not sleeping a lot that is kind of frustrating but nice that I can ask Fabian for help though at night. She is eating rice cereal and oat cereal. She has also tried pea, carrots, and sweet potatos. I think she will be crawling soon she gets on all 4's and rocks back and forth and usually does a face plant into the carpet. It's to funny.

More Food

Tonight Eastynn will be experiencing carrots for the first time I would like to post her funny faces on the net unfortunately for us she doesn't make any:( Oh well.
The girls have been so good the last few days. They have been both eating really well and they have been both sleeping very well its amazing what a set schedule will do. Taylor has been doing really well with the potty training. I believe by her 3rd birthday on Aug 2nd she will be a completely potty trined with hardly an accidents.
Also I'm thinking of getting the girls photos done. Just wondering if the few people who do leave comments can tell me where they go to get professional photos done, we have used all the backgrounds at Wal-mart a couple times to many so I'm thinking of going to Sears.

And Then There Were Two

Eastynn now has 2 teeth now both bottom ones. I'm glad they are here already before Fabian has his surgery. Hopefully no more will come until Fabian has healed from his surgery.
Also now Eastynn is not only eating her cereal she is also starting her fruits and vegtables. she gets a new one every 3 days just to make sure she isn't allergic and if she is then we know what is causing it so shouldn't be long before we a full time eater.
Taylor has been doing awesome on the potty no accidents in 2 days and thats even leaving the house for a few hours each day.
Taylor also has an interview tomorrow for a play school, I hope that works out so that Eastynn and I can go in swimming lessons just like Taylor and I did.
Both girls are so good today they both have been eating well and they both napped well today too. Taylor napped for about an hour and a half and Eastynn for the nap where they napped together napped for about 2 hours.

Just thought I'd wish 3 of the best dads I know a Happy Father's Day.
To Brian, sorry we could make the trip up to Edmonton for the weekend. I'm sure I missed some good episodes of How it's made. Hahaha.

To Fabian,
The best only one daddy I could ever want for my beautiful children. Thanks. And I promise our life is going to get some much better and if we can make it through these few tough years we'll make it through anything.

Eastynn's New Toy

Eastynn got a new toy today, she got a jumperoo (a glorafied jolly jumper). Its pretty much a jolly jumper crossed with a exersaucer. Its got lots of toys on it and the seat spins around. Taylor never got the hang of a jolly jumper she would just spin around in it. Taylor also loves it to she likes to "help" Eastynn bounce but gets a little rough. I'll post some pictues later.

Not Much Happening

There hasn't been a lot of action around the Huber household. Taylor is still potty training (again) this time I'm not going to let anything stop us this time. She also has some allergies, in September we are going both her and I to get tested to see what allergies we have. She also got another hair cut yesterday well she actually just got her bangs cut.
Dad (Fabian) got his head shaved even closer, I'm thinking his head will be bald by next week some time. But from what he tells me he is feeling good otherwise. His foot gets a little sore sometimes. And I think his allergies are a little worse than they were before. Although that could just be Medicine Hat is getting worse because I have never had allergies and I'm developing some slight allergies too.
Eastynn is getting big (for her) still pretty tiny next to a lot of 6 month old babies. I think she is about the size of a 4 month old. She has been having a bit of a tough time lately. She has been teething she does have one tooth poking through now. But the last few days she has been constipated to poor thing. So we have been giving her some prune juice a couple times a day it hasn't been helping so maybe we'll give her a little bit more. Although today she doesn't seem to be any pain as she was the previous couple days.
And as for me same old same old. Just dealing with the family.

A Big Heartfelt Thank-You

I would like to send out a big heartfelt Thank you to all who attended the benefit supper for Fabian. We appreciate it greatly and are totally surprised with the outcome. I'm sure the money will be put to good use. I would also like to thank the people who organized the benefit, the people who donated food and other services and the people who travelled to get there.
I would also like to apologise for not being able to come out to the benefit supper there is just so much going on here with Fabian and his treatments, Taylor has developed allergies, and Eastynn teething that it made it impossible to make it out there.
I would also like to thank everyone for keeping us in their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. It has really helped keeping our spirits up knowing how much people care.

How Could I Forget

We have an eruption of Eastynn's first tooth. Not sure on when I say she actually has first tooth or wait till its trough. But I'll let you know its all there.

Manic Monday

On Monday we were just going to sit back and relax, that was just not the case. I got Taylor up, dressed and put on some sun screen. She has some allergies and her eyes were watering and she wiped her eyes and ended up getting sun screen in them. YIKES. Her eyes continued to water pretty bad but I didn't know if it was allergies or sun screen. so I washed them with a face cloth but that didn't work. So I phoned health link they put me through to poison control they told me to put her in the shower and make the water hit her forehead and go into her eyes. Sounds easy not even close, it was by far the hardest thing I had to do so far as a mother. She screamed, kicked and cried in pain and in fear. I was suppose to keep her in for 20 minutes but it 10 minutes until I gave up and it was just to much for me. So I opened the door to see Grandma Mellor crying on the other side. I guess it was pretty hard on all of us that were there.
Anyway so yesterday we went to the doctor to see about allergies and if I want to take her to Calgary it will be 9 months to a year wait if we go to Edmonton it will be a couple months. I have been having burning eyes too so I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get a referral and maybe go as well.

Calaway Park

Sunday morning we got up early and drove to Calgary. I can't believe Taylor didn't sleep the entire way up there. We went to Calaway park had some lunch, rode some rides, and bought a few things and went to Jason and Jo's. We had some supper and waited until about 8:30 then headed home it was a super long drive home. I will post some pictures once I have down loaded them.

Spectrum

I know its been awhile but we have been super busy.
On friday and Saturday we went to Spectrum, Medicine Hat summer festival. Its fun for about an hour or two then we just go the park but besides the lack of a nap all was good.

Echodale Too

When we got back from Elkwater I drove Jo and the girls through Echodale park. We stopped at the petting zoo but when I showed Jo the rest we just drove by. lots of cute baby animals out there.

Elkwater

Yesterday the girls and I along with Jo, jason's room mate (who is visiting over from England)went to Elkwater. I showed Jo the cabin, Ressor Lake, Horseshoe Canyon, and the park down by the beach. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to go with someone who has never seen anything like that it makes you appreciate what you have.
