The Flu Shots

Last Thursday we went and got the flu shot. It was a short wait but as soon as we got to the front of the line the tears began. Taylor started to freak out. She got her needles and cried for the next 15 minutes she is terrified of needles then we found out she needs to flu shot needles.
Tuesday we went for the H1N1 we thought it would be maybe a little longer than the last one, but no it was a 4+ hour wait Eastynn wanted to be held he entire 4 hours so Fabian and I had very sore backs. Taylor was so cranky she cried and cried about everything and anything. She cried that she would miss recess and she cried that she'd miss library and she cried that she was missing school and that she wanted to go to McDonalds. She cried about being hungry and thirsty that I will give her I should have been a little more prepared. Then we got to the front of the line and she freaked out about the needles again. Poor little girl.
So Fabian and I are done getting our needles and the girls need one more of each but hopefully they can get them on the same day.

First Snowfall.

Today we woke up to over a foot of snow, I hate it the girls on the other hand love it. I dropped Taylor off at school I came home and tried to shovel the sidewalk and driveway. I really hurt my shoulder but Eastynn got to play outside for a good portion of the morning. She slept the rest of the morning and well into the afternoon. I picked the girls up and they played outside till supper was ready they ate and then they went outside and made a snowman with dad. Now they are enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. Hopefully after all the outside time they will sleep like babies tonight.

The Park With Luke

On Friday after we picked Taylor up at school we found an awesome little park which I loved it didn't have rocks except by the swing which we didn't go on. The ground was completely rubberized it was so nice not to have work about skinned knees, or sand or rocks in there shoes. They had a little Pirate there you can put your head through it was cute.

They had lots of slides there 2 large ones which Taylor is on.
One medium is the one that Luke is on which he loved a lot more than the swings earlier in the day.
The small one is the Eastynn is on she is the opposite of Luke. She doesn't like the slide but she loves the swings.

Finally all the kids really liked the 4 man teeter totter a lot different than the ones we had as kids I think a lot safer. I would have liked to have some rubber ground under me on the ones I went on when I was little.

We came home and Daniel and Linda came over for supper. They all played some wii. I gave Luke and Eastynn a bath, Luke is way different then my girls but I got him clean. I usually give the girls quite a warm bath so I didn't want it to be to cold for Luke and think I made it to cold. So I didn't keep him in very long.

It was sad to see them go on Saturday but will see them again in just a few weeks for Luke's first birthday.

Elwater

I took Brooklynn on a tour of Elkwater. First I took her up to Ressor Lake, I was going to take her to the other lake by Ressor but they were doing something with some cattle so we couldn't get by. I took her past the golf course I took her to Horseshoe Canyon. Then we drove down to the restarant and had some lunch. Took her up to the cabin for a few minutes just to show her it was pretty cold though. Then I took her past the lake and showed her where all the Chisholm's boat from and went to a park it only had swings and I must say Luke hated the swings. To bad cause the swings are to much fun.

Swimming with Luke

Thursday after supper we went swimming all of us. Daddy, Mommy, Brooklynn, Taylor, Eastynn and Luke.
Luke liked the water until we tried to put him in a floatie he hated that but when I put him in he stayed for about 5-10 minutes and didn't mind.

Eastynn was being her usual self when it comes to Luke, but she enjoyed playing by herself in the tot pool the rest of the time.

Taylor and daddy mostly played in the big pool and probably ventured off to the rope swing and the diving board and maybe even the slide.

Mommies day out shopping with Eastynn and Luke.

So on Thursday while Taylor was at school Brooklynn, the kids and myself. Went to Walmart, the mall, Winners, the dollar store, and Blooming Gals. I think that was it.
I had to make a return at Walmart. Brooklynn needed to pick some stuff up at the dollar store for Luke's birthday. We went to the mall for lunch and to find Brooklynn a swim suit. The rest of the stores were just to browse and kill some time till Taylor got off school. The little ones well lets say the fact Eastynn is stubborn gets in the way of them having fun, she doesn't like when he touches her or even when he comes to close to her, hopefully that will pass...soon. In the mean time I guess Taylor and Eastynn play together or Taylor and Luke. Eastynn likes Luke if he is not paying attention to her she will rub his head and give him a little hug.
The few cute pictures of Luke is him with his first lollipop. He didn't fair well with it mostly eating the wrong side. It was cute though.

Girls Helping Out

The girls are definitley starting to help a little more around the house. For Taylor if there is incentive she will go go go. Her incentive here was her little cousin Luke was coming over for a sleepover with Auntie Brooklynn. She even tidied up her toy room before she went to school that morning such a little princess.
With Eastynn we usually get the whiney "I'm tired" oh well Taylor use to do it all the time.

Eastynn's Gymnastics

These pictures are a blurry cause they were taken through glass
Eastynn absolutely loves gymnastics this first picture is her crossing the beam she can do it very very slowly now without me holding on.

She also can do a stork stand on the beam, it is so cute this week they had to get on all fours and extended one leg out behind them but she did the stork stand instead. Stork stand is where you stand on one leg and put your other foot on the knee of the one foot you are standing on.

Most of the kids at gymnastics really like the rope Eastynn does it but I don't think its her favorite.

The very blurry picture is of her running in one spot on the trampoline one of the funniest sights I have ever seen.

The last picture is of her jumping on the trampoline. All the kids really like that one too.
