Outside

Wow I can't believe how much Taylor wants to spend outside. From the minute she gets up to the minute she falls asleep she wants to be outside. Once she's been outside for awhile then she wants to go to the park.
The only bad thing about her being outside is that she has quite the cold and I don't particulary like her being outside as long as she is. Also Eastynn doesn't like the wind it still takes her breath away, so it makes it hard to be outside and watching Eastynn inside. But the good thing is Taylor is sleeping a lot. I'm not sure if thats due to the cold or the fresh air. Taylor has also figured out how to open doors now so the deadbolt is finally getting some use.

New Toy

Eastynn has finally got a new toy. On my way to darts today I seen a garage sale with a lot of baby stuff, and I thought I'll pass. Then once I got there I realized I forgot my darts, oops. So I had to come home to get them and on my way back down I stopped and got Eastynn an exersaucer. she's still to small for it she can't quite touch the ground and she is way to thin but we wrap a blanket around her and it takes care of the problem. She really seems to like it so far. But then again so does Taylor, she has a hard time understanding that everything is not hers.

Not Much Happening

There is not much happening around here, which I guess is a good thing.
Taylor seems to be learning new words everyday. Some we can't understand or figure out but others just throw me for a loop cause I didn't realize she knew them.
Eastynn hasn't been doing much she has learnt to grasp toys. And tonight I had her on her tummy and she's push herself up on her feet and push back with her hands seems like she was moving pretty good, for a 4 month old anyway.

New Website

Because I'm having difficulty uploading pictures I'm going to make a website just for pictures of the girls. Hopefully I can have it up in a few weeks give me some time though.

Eastynn's Shots

Today Eastynn had her 4 month shots. She got 3 one was for Diphtheria, Whooping Chough, and Tetnus. The second one was for Haemophilus Influenza B, and Polio. The third one Meningococcal and Pneumococcal. She did really well the nurse gave me a toy to distract her while she did it then she rang a bell when Eastynn cried and it made her pretty much quite crying on the spot at least till she stopped ringing it but the crying only lasted less than a minute.
Now for the exciting part her measurements. Her weight is a mere 11 lbs. 14 oz. which is the 25th percentile for weight and she is 24 inches long which is the 10th percentile for her height. She is growing at a steady rate they are still not to worried about her weight or anything so all is well.

Day with Jay

Yesterday we spent the day with Uncle Jay. Taylor absolutely adores him. We went shopping to a few places and spent most of the day in the car. Uncle Jay bought Taylor 5 new books I intended on buying them because I love the girls having the baby Einstein books and usually they are $10 a book and we got all of them half off so couldn't leave them there. We also got to have Tino's, for the people who don't know the best burger joint in Medicine Hat that's only open for part of the year. Then we went to Uncle Shane and Auntie Pam's shop and looked at all the fixtures and picture frames and other little nick knacks. We dropped Jason off at the bus station at 7pm and Taylor misses him already. She keeps asking where did Jay go, it very cute. Jay is one of the two names she actually can say.

Taylor and Brooklynne

After Eastynn's Baptism we headed to the Medicne Hat Golf Course for lunch. Taylor and Brooklynne (Becky's Daughter) ran around the entire time but they had a blast. I wouldn't normally let Taylor run around like that but we had the entire side of the club house to ourselves so I let it go.
I also got a couple pictures of Grandma Huber and the girls.

Eastynn's Baptism

Eastynn had her Baptism on Sunday. It was a nice service. It was also very nice that everyone from out of town made it, Uncle Calvin (who is Eastynn's Godfather), Auntie Brooklynn (and her mom), Grandma and Grandpa Huber and Uncle Jason. The Baptism didn't last long again, you gotta love Father John. I would like to thank Uncle Calvin and Becky for being Eastynn's Godparents.

Swimming At The Lodge

On Friday we went to the Lodge because Uncle Calvin and Auntie Brooklynn were in town for Eastynn's Baptism. Taylor, Auntie Brooklynn and I went into the pool and the hot tub that night. Shortly after we got out Grandma and Grandpa Huber showed up with Auntie Brooklynn's mom in tow. We sat and visited awhile then we headed home for the night.
On Saturday I headed out to play darts. Fabian and the girls headed back to The Lodge so Taylor could go swimming again. She got to go swimming with Uncle Calvin and Auntie Brooklynn and from the pictures it looks like she really enjoyed herself.

Another Milestone

Today while I was talking on the phone I looked behind me cause Eastynn was talking and she was on her belly. She rolled over. Funny how little things like that are so exciting but Yippee.

Tattooed

Fabian went and got a tattoo today for his girls. He got a yellow ribbon for Taylor, the yellow ribbion is for a adoptive parent and he got a pink ribbon for Eastynn and the pink ribbon also means birth parent. I'm sure most of you have seen these ribbons and know there other meanings but if you type in awareness ribbons to google its interesing to see what they all mean and how many meanings they each have.

Eating Eastynn

Eastynn had her first taste of cereal yesterday. It was quite messy but cute none the less. I'm not quite sure if she's ready for cereal yet but we'll keep trying. I think she liked chewing on the high chair tray more than the cereal.

Happy Birthday Papa

Happy Birthday to Papa Mellor. Can't believe next year is a huge birthday for papa. Auntie Linda and Uncle Daniel are coming to babysit the girls tonight while the adults all go out for a fancy dinner. I can't wait the last time we went to this restaurant it was the best meal I ever ate.

Happy Easter

Yesterday we got the girls all dressed up and went to my Grandma Chisholm's. We had some Chinese food, very rare for Easter but unfortunately not as many of the Chisholm's could actually make it to Easter this year. We also had a short little Easter egg hunt for Taylor. She absolutely loved it. After supper we headed off to Calgary, it was Jason's birthday and Fabian had a doctor's appointment.

Fun Day

Yesterday we went down to Police Point Park. Around Easter time they have Easter egg coloring, the girls are to young for that. For the young kids they have chickadees, baby pheasents, and little bunnies. Taylor really enjoyed that and her little buddy Brooklynne came down too.

Dr. Appointment

Just a quick note. We got the phone call today the appointment is on April 9 at 1:30 pm. So I will post about how that went on monday evening when we get back.

2 Milestones

Eastynn has reached 2 milestones over the past few days. One is that she can get her thumb in her mouth, instead of the whole fist she usually ends up with the whole fist but sometimes she gets lucky and only gets the thumb. This is a habit that her mommy had for a very long time as a child I think I was about 9 when I quit sucking my thumb, but I didn't require braces or anything. Also a habit that her big sister has too, but she only sucks her thumb when she's upset or tired. I hope she doesn't suck her thumb as long as me but if she does so be it. I turned out fine.
The second one is she started reaching for objects she can't really grab on to the object all that well but she's trying.

Too Funny

Eastynn has been awfully cute lately. Last night she was sleeping and she laughs in her sleep. It totally cracks me up even if I'm sleeping and I hear her I'll wake up and just listen to her laugh. I think she almost luaghs more in her sleep then while shes awake.
Taylor is also pretty funny the kid can sleep almost anywhere. I just wish she'd do at the same time everyday.
And as of right now still no more information about Fabian going to Calgary. But I'll be sure to post as soon as we know anything.
And me not much new with me. I played darts on the weekend did ok made a bit of money but not much. My shoulders are getting very sore and have been very sore for about 4 weeks now, I'm going to get a massage some time soon.
We are also going to go get our family pictures done soon. Hopefully within a week or so.
