Eastynn's First Hair Cut/Taylor's Hair Cut Too

On Sunday while I was playing darts Fabian took the girls to get their hair cut by Uncle Jay. It was Eastynn's first hair cut ever and we got Taylor's hair cut to sit just on her shoulders. They look oh so pretty now. Not that they didn't before.
They were suppose to spend the whole after noon with Jason, but unfortunately that fell through. So maybe next time they will get to spend more time with him.

Red Deer with Cal and Brooklynn

On Saturday Fabian and the girls decided to go to Red Deer to see Calvin and Brooklynn. They seemed to have a good time although I wasn't there. They got to see Calvin and Brooklynn and Dan and Linda. Kind of funny we seem to see Dan and Linda more out of town then in town and they only live a few houses away. The one picture of Eastynn here is at Ryan and Lisa's we stayed at there house in Calgary. The big dog in the picture was always around me or Eastynn it seemed. Eastynn laid her blankies on the floor and laid on top of them and Koda came and laid right beside her it was very cute.

Rodeo Open

This weekend I played in the Rodeo Open in Calgary. I did really well.
In the blind draw I got a very good player Clint Clarkson, he has had a article written in a magazine for darts that can be bought in all of North America. We finished first in our section but ended up getting knocked out in the second round of knock outs.
In the ladies singles I came out second in my section and ended up finishing joint fifth overall.
In the mixed triples I played with a good friend Ryan and my other partner was Mike Dwyer my partner from Nationals. We came first in our section and finished joint third overall.
In ladies doubles I played with Amanda Meeuws and we came first in our section and ended up joint third again. Amanda and I came in joint third in Edmonton the last time we played.
In mixed doubles I played with Mike Dwyer again and we came out first in our section. We ended up coming joint third.
It was a great showing for me three weeks before Nationals.

Beauty Weather.

Wow the weather has been so nice lately if I didn't take the girls outside I would have felt like a horrible mother. Yesterday the girls probably spent the 85% of the afternoon. I did stay in making meatballs while they played outside it was perfect because they were out of the way for once. Then later that night we went outside and the girls played with the next door neighbor boy. Its sad they got along so well but it was the first time in 2 years that they have played together. Today I think they put down fertilizer so I let them outside but only the cement pad. But I took them to the park for about an hour too. I can hear them in the bedroom still playing so apparently the fresh air didn't poop them out like I had planed. Oh well they have a huge weekend ahead of them I have a dart shoot in Calgary. I We plan on heading to Chuck E Cheese tomorrow. Saturday perhaps the kids and Fabian may head to Red Deer for the day to see Uncle Calvin and Auntie Brooklynn. And on Sunday they are going to go visit Uncle Jason and his new puppy Lacey, Jason is going to give Taylor a summer haircut so hopefully he will cut it so it just rests on her shoulders but I don't think he will go that short and Eastynn is getting her very first hair cut.

Babies Babies Babies

So it is a week full of babies. First off Fabian's cousins John and Keitha had a baby boy yesterday Benjamin Max. Congrats to you guys. And this morning after 2 long years of trying and 9 long months of being pregnant Josh and Rai-Lyn FINALLY welcomed little Kingston Luke into the world. And I believe on Wednesday Doris and James are finally going to welcome their little baby girl into the world, after 3 little boys. I tell you what that little girl will never have to worry about getting hurt by a boy other than her brothers. I can't wait to see all of the cute little babies. Congratulations to everyone.

My Mother's Day Tea

Today Taylor and I had a very special day. We took daddy to work and Eastynn to Grandma's house. Then we came home and did our hair and makeup to get ready for our mother's day tea at Taylor's school. We went there and then they sang us some song which was very cute. I was so proud even though she basically just stood there. But she sang me some of the songs earlier. Then the kids all got the mom's a couple treats and then got themselves a treat, it was kind of nice to have he serve me for a change. Then all the kids went up to the front and got the cards they had made for us. Unfortunately Taylor was sick when they made the cards for the moms. She was absolutely devastated. I don't know if she was embarrassed that she was the only kid that had nothing to give to her mom. Or if she was upset that she didn't get one when she went to the front nonetheless it was heart breaking to see that adorable face come back with the big pouty lip and big tears in her eyes. All her teachers felt horrible so they told her they would help her make one on Tuesday. After we left her friend Cale came up to her and gave her a big hug and told her not to be sad it was so so sweet. He is the little guy in the picture that you can barely see with the glasses behind Taylor. So since she was so upset we went and bought some nail polish and did her nails.

I thought I should blog this so we have it in black and white for when Taylor is older. So she is sleeping at Grandma and Papa's tonight and the spare bedroom was to hot so she didn't want to sleep in there. So Grandma asked her if she wanted to sleep with Grandma and Papa and Taylor said "I can't sleep with boys." LOL to cute.

The Canadian Cancer Society Dart Shoot!!!!

Today I hosted The first annual Canadian Cancer Society Dart Shoot. It went off amazingly. Everyone had a great time. We managed to raise a total of $4038.98.
I would like to thank everyone for there donations weather is was finical or a prizes.

Much Better

Both the girls seem to be doing much better. I'm so so happy. Today Eastynn was a completely different girl she has been laughing and play not grumpy in the slightest. I almost forgot how much fun she can be between the teething and the cold. We are going to try and get back on to the schedule again in full swing tomorrow.

Sick Girlies

We have been having a rough time with the girls over the last week. First Taylor had a fever and got a cough, thank goodness she isn't troubled much by not feeling good. Especially since Eastynn is horrible when she is sick or teething. Eastynn got a fever and a cough a couple days later. She didn't sleep at all from Friday night to Saturday morning. Oh well it was a little rough on me but more so on Fabian and Eastynn. She was worse on Saturday she would cry ever time she cough, I asked Fabian to take her into the doctor but he didn't find it necessary but I guess I must have nagged him enough cause he took her in on Sunday and she is certainly catching up on lost sleep. She slept till 11:30 last night and she just fell asleep again hopefully she will sleep again tonight.
I had darts so thank goodness for me I missed a whole lot of the drama at home. On Friday I played in a blind draw. I got drawn with another woman and we did not to bad considering we were the only woman team in the building. On Saturday we had ladies singles I came in third in my section made it through my first round and got knocked out the next round after that, my nerves got to me. Saturday afternoon I played ladies doubles we came in first in our section and made it through all the knock out rounds and finished in first place. That was awesome considering it was my partner for nationals a good way to finish for the rookies on the team. Mixed doubles on Sunday we did no good whatsoever we placed fourth in our section and got knocked out first round.
We are getting excited here for our cancer shoot on Saturday things are looking very good for that. I will try and take some photos and video for the shoot.

NOW WHAT??!!

Late yesterday afternoon Taylor got a very bad cough. I ended up keeping her home from school again just to prevent her from getting others sick.
Unfortunately I think Eastynn is now very cranky so I think she is now getting sick and a new diaper rash. Its not a particulary good time for it to be happening with a big dart tournament coming up this weekend and also with us having company this weekend. Although the people staying with us are trying to have a baby we probably won't have to do a whole lot.
Anyway I'll keep everyone posted on how they are feeling.

Taylor's Sick

I don't know what the deal is with Grandma and Grandpa Huber but every time we go to Saskatchewan or they come here someone always ends up sick. Its usually Grandma though. Last night Taylor stayed at Grandma Mellor's she ended up being sick. She had a nap and apparently wasn't the same once she woke up. Then she was up till midnight and slept only till 4am. Then a little nap in the morning and a little nap in the afternoon. Grandma said that she was hot when she woke up and said that she was complaining of a headache and a tummy ache. I took her temp in the ear one ear was 101.3 and in the other was 104.8. We have managed to break the fever with freezies, by light clothing, and by rotating motrin and tylenol and a bath. I'm hoping it doesn't creep back up. we will be watching her like a hawk tonight. Hopefully she can make it to school tomorrow but i doubt it.

What A Fun Weekend

Well Grandma and Grandpa Huber came to town on Thursday which was the start of our weekend.
Friday I finally got to make my in-laws a nice roast beef and yorkshire pudding supper. It turned out good I think everyone seemed to enjoy it. We also celebrated Linda's birthday (Uncle Daniel's girlfriend). As I have said in the past Taylor loves to celebrate people's birthday's. Its crazy now we have to see who's birthday is next cause she will be waiting for another one.
Saturday I played darts in an open singles tournament there was 15 players 12 men and 3 women. I finished as the top women and finished 7th overall which is really well (BTW I finished better than my dad and I beat him LOL). I had a 180 and took out a 161 which is one of the biggest outs you can get in darts (for those who don't know much about darts). Taylor got to go to the library and take out some new books which will hopefully be a monthly thing she likes it there. After darts and everything we went out for supper at Mamma's a restaurant at the Medicine Hat Lodge. We got to treat Grandma and Grandpa Huber, Grandma and Grandpa Mellor and Daniel and Linda. It was an excellent meal.
This morning Grandma and Grandpa Huber headed back to Saskatchewan (even though we advised them not to due to the huge snowfall we had). Taylor was very sad to see them go Eastynn was too. We took Taylor and Eastynn over to Grandma and Grandpa Huber's so that Fabian and I could play in the in house tournament at the Cabin. That was a great time for Fabian and I. Taylor is having a sleep over at Grandma's which with any luck can be a Sunday ritual its awesome to have such an easy night with just Eastynn.
We have a big weekend coming up this weekend it is a darts alberta dart shoot so I'm looking forward to that and hoping our babysitter didn't forget and if she did that we can get another one soon.
Also the cancer shoot I'm having on May 3rd is doing well (thanks to all who who have donated prizes or otherwise.)

OOPS Sorry It Has Been So Long

I didn't even realize it had been so long since my last post. Well lets see what has happened.
Friday we had roast beef and yorkshire pudding for papa's 60th birthday. Taylor so loves birthday parties although it was just the 6 of us.
Saturday I have no idea what the girls did I played darts all day, and won. Then we had a "adult" birthday party for dad. While Uncle Daniel and Auntie Linda babysat and gave Taylor popcorn which she just "lubs"
Sunday we didn't do a whole lot of anything.
Monday I took the girls swimming in the morning and Fabian took them to the park after supper.
Eastynn is teething AGAIN and not happy about it. She cried so hard this morning I took her to the doctor thinking she had something seriously wrong and nothing. Oh well. She is a little happier now.

Happy Birthday Uncle Jay. & Day 2 Of The New Schedule

Well I'm finally tring to get up early which is absoutely killing me the main reason cause I'm avoiding naps and still not falling asleep at a great time. Oh well I'm sure that will sort itself out in a day or two maybe a few hours. The girls are adjusting nicely going to bed better and what not. The chores are all getting done.
Eastynn is finally starting to say a few words she says mum and daddy of course Pebbles. Now she is saying up and hot its cute.
I'm just running out of the house to go get my hair done. Yippee and Fabian is taking the girls to the park.
And I want to wish Jason a very happy birthday from all of us we love you dearly.

Day One Of Our Schedule

Today was day one of our schedule. It had a few glitches but nothing huge. It was pretty great. But oh my goodness am I tired. I hope to keep it going for all of our sakes and the houses sake.

Trying schedules AGAIN

I can't believe how many times I have tried this but its going to start again.
Everyone is starting to forget things so things need to be more organized. We are all getting grumpy so something needs to be done so everyone knows what to expect instead of just flying by the seat of our pants and this way we have activities to do everyday.

Opps Its Been a Week Already

I can't believe it has been a week since my last post I apologize. I have been sick with a cold as well as the rest of our family and I don't know what is going on but all the girls in this house have been prone to accidents this week. Taylor dropped a can of beans on her big toe and will maybe lose her nail. Eastynn hit her head on the wall and got a goose egg and tonight she took quite the tumble off the couch I always get so scared when she is running across the couch and I found out why tonight. I cut my finger I ctually thought I may lose the top of my fingers but I didn't and yesterday I went and slammed another finger in the bathroom door it hurt really really bad but I was so thankful it was not the finger I cut, I think I'd still be crying. Fabian *knock on wood* has thankfully not hurt himself.
Last night we took the girls to the library which they seem to think is alright but I think they liked visiting Grandma at work more. After that we went to McDonalds for lunch I thought Taylor would enjoy it but unfortunately there were some bullies on the play equipment that hurt her or hurt her feelings. But that evening we took Taylor bowling for her first time. She really really liked it I think. It was cute they had little red lights that was kind of like a disco ball but little and red. (That's the best I can describe it) she was trying to catch them once she got into that she forgot about the bowling but it was fun nonetheless. You can sort of see the lights in the pictures.

Easter With The Chisholm's

We had Easter at Pam and Shane's new and absolutely beautiful home. I'm not even sure I have ever seen a house quite that beautiful before. It had a amazing view and it seemed to be a very high tech house with lots and bells and whistles.
Anyway there were lots of great people most of the Chisholm's, some of the Pudwell's, and a friend or two of the family.
The meal was fantastic.
Taylor enjoyed herself immensely she loves hanging out with Kenny and Logan. Eastynn was all over the place visiting and making people laugh and smile.
We did again have another Easter egg hunt.

Easter Morning

Easter morning was so much fun.
To watch Taylor and Eastynn their baskets it was great. One of my favorite moments as a mom so far.
After that we had the Easter egg hunt which Taylor really really loved.
Eastynn didn't really like it but she got the hang of it eventually.

Easter At Police Point Park

We made our yearly visit to Police Point Park on Friday.
The girls enjoyed it. I was over it in about 5 minutes but hey its not about me. They always have the new chicks and some bunnies down there.
Taylor totally enjoyed herself, Eastynn seemed to like it too.
At one point Eastynn actually picked up a chick. I didn't know what to do I didn't know how to get her put it down cause I didn't want her to get scared and squish the chick. But we got it figured out and the bird was unharmed.
Taylor cried when we left but you can only spend about a half hour there.
Next year should be great cause Taylor should be able to do a Easter egg.

Ick Ick Ick We're All Sick

I can't believe it after my last post about me and Eastynn being sick everyone is now sick.
I still have a sore tummy but not near as bad as Wednesday.
Taylor and Fabian both just got a cold today.
And poor poor Eastynn, she is getting 4 teeth 2 top molars, 1 bottom molar, and one bottom front tooth. She has a slight diaper rash that is thankfully clearing up. She also has been having the runs. And also got a cold as well. With how my tummy felt I can totally sympathize with the poor girl. I have been listening to her cough in her sleep. Its horrible now because they don't make infant cough medicine but I have been giving her motrin.
I'm not sure if I will be struck with the cold I feel like I'm already getting it. And I really hope Fabian and Taylor don't get the stomach aches that Eastynn and I have been dealing with. That's all for now.

EWWW

Well Eastynn is still grumpy and sick too. She is getting 3 molars and a front tooth. She has the runs and a runny nose so its easy to see why she is grumpy. She has taken a fancy to her big sister. Taylor and her are almost inseperable it is to cute watching them walk around the house holding hands and Taylor holding her and cuddling her I love it.
I too am sick today so today I can really sympathize with Eastynn.

New Hobby

Well I have taken up a new hobby, running. I have only went for one run so far on Wednesday, but a big one to start out with 5km. It was the first physical activity I have really done since I got pregnant with Taylor, far to long. I really liked it but am hurting really bad I started off a little to strong, for me anyway, the other 2 I was running with thought I was a wus I think. I ran about 400 meters and had to walk for about 3km LOL with very little jogging after that. Once I finally caught my breath I took my time and picked objects. Like I'll jog from this garbage can to the next one which let me keep my breathing under control and helped tremendously. I have a doctors appointment on Monday and I'm going to get an inhaler and hopefully that will help. I also plan on maybe hitting a track instead since it is all one level no ups or downs there. I also plan on using a iPod that my amazing, awesome husband bought me off eBay tonight. Maybe jog a song, walk one, jog one, walk one. I hope I can continue and enjoy it more and more. My friends that I have been running with have been very supportive calling me and checking on how I'm feeling after the run and encouraging me during the run which makes it a lot easier. I have also done a little research as well on how to build myself up so I can run with my friends with out being embarrassed. Maybe dad and I can go in a 5km run by the end of the summer that would be awesome.

I have no idea what is up with that little one. She isn't sleeping right. She wakes up every couple hours and is taking forever to fall asleep sometimes crying up to a half hour. I'm not sure if it is her teeth bothering her or if it is our trip on the weekend is what is causing this madness but it is getting a little crazy.

I'm Going To Be An Auntie

I'm so excited that we are going to have a new addition to the Huber family. No its not me unfortunately and not for a lack of trying. Calvin and Brooklynn are expecting there first baby in October. It is very exciting someone else to spoil and like I said I get to be and Auntie and my girls will finally have some cousins. Hopefully not to young for Taylor but I'm sure they will all get along just fine Taylor will want to take care of the baby a lot I'm sure.
Congrats you guys what an exciting couple of years you are going to have.

Landon's Birthday Party

On Saturday morning on our way to Edmonton. Fabian, the girls, and I stopped in Calgary for one of my good friends son's second birthday. Taylor loves birthday parties, everything from bringing the kid a present, to dressing up like "a princess", to the cake, and of course singing Happy Birthday.
We had a blast it was nice to visit with Tamara and her family the last time we did was in September her and Landon came out to Elkwater for a week with us.
Eastynn really enjoyed Landon's toys which leads me to believe we may have a tomboy on our hands.
Tamara made a very nice lunch and she made and decorated a Thomas The Train cake it was AMAZING.

Eastynn Getting More Teeth

Eastynn is also getting 3 more teeth 2 top molars and one bottom front. Which explains her attitude lately. Hopefull they will pop through soon and we will be done with that.

SWIMMING SWIMMING SWIMMING

That's all we seem to do now is go swimming. Since last Thursday when we bought our swim pass Eastynn and I have been 9 times including our baby fit class and about 7 with Taylor. We are loving it but I'm not loving all the laundry it brings. BLAH.
I'm going to maybe enter another baby fit class starting on Monday. I also tried to register the girls for some swimming lessons but they are all full. I have to wait until the spring registration. I'm also hoping I can get the girls in a class together. Or get Eastynn in one while Taylor is at school and get Taylor in one on mon and fri. Who knows but I'm excited. Fabian and I are also talking about maybe taking some lessons for ourselves. I don't have the confidence that if something we're to happen that I could save both of my girls and I really would love to have that confidence. I really like the fact that we are swimming a lot it gets us out of the house a lot and the girls aren't watching as much tv and they are sleeping better too, as am I. Our swim pass includes all of the pools in Medicine Hat which is great cause in the summer we can go to the out door pool as well. I think swimming is going to be our new hobby.
I was asked today what I do besides play darts and swim, I just shook my head and said nothing. I LOVE IT.

Big Weekend

What a big weekend. We went and bought a 6 month pass for the pool on Thursday.

So we went swimming just the girls and I on Friday morning, then we went and bought a bunch of swim suits for the whole family the girls suits are so cute. Then Friday night we all went swimming again.

Saturday I went and played darts. Becky and I won first time we got to play together forever it was a lot of fun. Then we went swimming again. Becky and Brooklynne showed up too. We were suppose to meet some other friends but they were gone by the time we got there. After swimming me and Taylor went to Becky and Brooklynne's for a sleep over. The girls had fun but didn't sleep so Taylor and I came home. Although Taylor still believes she had a sleep over. Brooklynne and Taylor had a lot of fun though and we will try again when the girls aren't so tired to start out with. The over tiredness didn't help in the least bit.

Sunday Fabian went and played darts, yes I let Fabian go play darts. I was getting the girls ready for a birthday. Nathan had his 4th birthday yesterday, its very hard to believe he is 4 I have been to all of his birthday parties so far. Taylor and Nathan have a huge thing going on. They get along so well. She could have cared less that there were other little girls there and Nathan could have cared less about the little boys at his party. Taylor did have a melt down cause she couldn't open Nathan's presents though. But Scotty handed out balloons and she was fine. After the party we went swimming again.

We have to use the card 30 times to have it paid for and I plan on using it as often as I can so we will probably go everyday.

On another note just want to wish Grandma Huber Happy Birthday again. Taylor and I called her and wished her Happy Birthday yesterday and Fabian called her last night. I hope you had a good day.

Poor Little One

I have no idea what is up with Little Eastynn but she is so cranky right now. She had a really really bad day and her sleep is not much better. We put Eastynn down early tonight at 7:30 she has woken up crying a lot but usually falls asleep shortly after that. Her diaper rash is a little better but she is however getting a molar I think?! I have no idea but I can feel a tooth poking trough and I believe it is a molar. She has her top 4 then missing the one beside that and is getting the one, thats why I believe it maybe a molar.
Taylor on the other hand is starting to feel better she falling asleep very early at night though I think the last 3 nights it has been between 7:15-7:45 but I don't mind.

It has been awhile since I have posted but not much has went on lately.

Taylor has had a very nasty cold she hasn't went to school at all over the past week but I think it is finally leaving. We didn't even allow her to sleep in the same room as Eastynn for a few days. Both the girls are starting to become healthy again. Eastynn had a cold prior to Taylors cold.

Eastynn on the other hand she has had a severe case of seperation anxiety I have dealt with so far. She cries when I leave the room. She cries when Fabian leaves the house. I think this is because of all the darts lately which will take a back seat to my girls. I will play my 2 nights and my saturday and then my evenings I will not play until after they go to bed which should be good until I go to Nationals and then I will take another break for awhile.

I played in a tournament yesterday and didn't do to well. But played again today and finished first it was a lot of fun.

Finaaly I Did It

After 5 long years I have finally made the provincial team.
I will tell you all about my weekend although it may not make sense to some but oh well bare with me.

So on Saturday there was a total of 34 ladies. I was a number 3 seed going into the tournament. I finished 3rd in my section not a great finish by any means. After our sections we go into a DOUBLE knock out. I made it past the first round and in the second round I got knocked down to the B side and my first round in the B I got knocked out by Jayne Osbourne. I earned a whopping 5 points fir the day. I don't remember who knocked me down to the B on Saturday.
On Sunday again there was 34 ladies. I was a disgusting 17 seed going into day 2. On this day we had 5 in our section and I finished horrible again with a number 4 finish. Yuck. I played Brenda, Anne Marie, Linda, Crystal, Judi and again I'm missing another name. But I won all my matches and won the entire day earning myself 25 points and a number 5 seed for day three.
On Monday I needed an average day. I placed second in my section on Monday. I played Marla my first match. Anne Marie C my second match and Wanda who is going to be my partner for ladies at nationals knocked me down to the B and the round after that I played Cindy and she knocked me out. Thank goodness I made 9 points for the day and secured myself 5th spot on the team.
It was a tough weekend and things looked grim at times but all my hard practice finally payed off. I can't wait to got to nationals in June. I think the girls and Fabian may go spend that week out in Saskatchewan.

My Little Eastynn Is Growing Up So Fast

Wow Eastynn is getting so big. Today I went to the health unit and had Eastynn's car seat turned around to forward facing. She got her ear's pierced on Friday. I also believe she is officially done nursing she has only nursed 3 times since Friday. She is getting so big (not really) but she is very independent now. Makes mommy kind of sad.

Fun For Mom

Woo hoo.

Mommy had her first official mommy weekend since Eastynn was born. I spent the weekend in Edmonton playing darts. The girls and Fabian and I went to Calgary since Fabian had a doctors appointment today.

On Friday Fabian took Eastynn and got her ears pierced I wanted to be there but they didn't have time to do it before my ride picked me up to go to Edmonton. On Sunday Fabian and Uncle Jason took the girls to the wave pool that I use to go to when I was a kid. I kind of wish I was there.

On Friday I played a blind draw and for the first time in forever I felt bad for the person who got drawn against me since I was drinking mommy juice. LOL. Anyway I was a little tipsy.

Which lead to a mild hangover on Saturday when I had to play ladies singles. I played really well probably cause I could only concentrate on one thing which was darts it would have hurt to bad to think about many other things. I hit a 180 and I also had to bulls eye finishes one which was 89 and the other of 128. I know most of you don't have any idea what that means but its pretty darn good. Usually I would play all the events but since I had a hangover and I was away from the girls I took the opportunity to sleep. I had another few drinks that night, which was fun.

Sunday morning I played ladies doubles and we did very well and finished joint 3rd made a little money. We started mixed doubles around supper time on Sunday which was a little late for me but so so much FUN. I played with one of the nicest guys I know at darts and we played so well together just met a tough team a little to early. But I hit another 180 in the mixed doubles and so did my partner. I also just missed a 170 finish which it the highest finish you could ever get it was very amazing. I played so well which was very much needed since provincials is next weekend.

We didn't leave Edmonton till 11 pm last night and the roads were horrible it was really scary. We didn't get back to Jay's house till 3 am. It was so sweet when I came home and ended up going to bed Taylor sat up in bed and looked at me and just said mommy in the sweetest tone it totally melted my heart. I gave her a few little cuddles and kisses and then she leaned over and gave me a kiss. One of my favorite moments of being a mom, just a little thing but I loved every second of it.

The this morning little Eastynn woke up and daddy went and got her and she cried and cried and he said to her just a second look who is that and she couldn't possibly get to me fast enough. She came and hugged me and looked at me and then hugged me and then looked at me, this carried on for at least a half hour. Another favorite moment of mommy-hood.

Today we had out portraits taken in Calgary. We were suppose to go at 10 but didn't get our act together till about 11. Not good considering that is usually Eastynn's nap time we tried getting some for awhile but with no success. We went and had lunch and came back and had a little more success. I can't wait to see the photos we won't be doing that till Friday though.

Fabian had his second 3 month check up today. That was also very successful. So I guess all together we had a super great weekend. Fabian posted more about his doctors appointment on his blog which is http://fabianshealth.blogspot.com

Grandma's Little Birthday Party

Today Taylor and I thought it would be nice to do something special for Grandma Mellor's Birthday even though it is not till Saturday. We are going away on Friday so we needed to do it tonight. We made some cup cakes. Taylor made Grandma a beautiful homemade card. :) She was so darn cute. We had a little gift for her.
As soon as grandma came she was so excited to show Grandma she said look at what we made. Grandma said who are they for. She replied they are for you for your birthday.
After supper we gave Grandma her cupcakes with a sparkler on them and she sang Happy Birthday so proud and happy I wish I would have a video camera for that moment. When she gave Grandma her present it was another sweet moment. She is such a happy little girl, days like today make you realize we take so much for granted and we should be Thankful for all the little things we have in our life.

Baby Fit Class

Well I actually did it. I went to a baby fit class basically you do aquasize with your baby in a floaty device in front of you. WOW am I out of shape I was having a tough time keeping up never mind the fact that I'm completely uncoordinated. OH well I should hurt tomorrow. It was fun though.
Eastynn crashed pretty hard she has been napping for about 3 hours so if this continues I may take her everyday just to hang out in the pool and then Taylor could come on Mondays and Fridays.

On another note I had my doctors appointment about my wrist and they say I have a ganglion which is what they initially thought Fabian had but they are not going to operate on mine unless it starts to cause problems with mobility or becomes large.

Jacob's Birthday Party

On Sunday we went to our friends house the Collins' there littlest boy was turning 2. Taylor was so excited talking about the party for weeks and weeks before. SHe loves birthday parties. She loves to get all dresses up unfortunately we don't have many dresses for her we have a lot for Eastynn. The party went well the girls looked cute and Taylor had a blast holding Nathan's hand, Jacob's older brother, for the entire night.

Boring Week

It was to cold of a week for anything interesting to happen.
Our van didn't start and then once we got it boosted the command start didn't work but we got it.
Taylor's week was the same as usual although she is a lot more cuddly this week and telling me she loves me a lot more. I can handle that anytime.
Eastynn had a pretty clumsy week. She took a couple big spills but nothing to major.
Tonight we have a birthday party.

Weekend Fun

Not much has been happening around here lately.
Friday night we had Dan and Linda over and we played a game called Cranium. It was so much fun and the girls were victorious. Whoop whoop. LOL.
Saturday I was so hurting and played some darts, Thank God. Fabian was also hurting but he had ti stay at home with the girls poor guy. I did give him a little relief once I got home I took both girls to the pool which was a little scary and a lot of fun. I ended up in a little pickle with the girls once the waves came on but luckily a near by mom gave me a hand and scooped up Taylor. All was good after that.
Yesterday we didn't do anything. We just relaxed on the couch although Fabian and Eastynn went for a quick trip to go get groceries. And then the cold hit we will not be leaving the house unless necessary till the cold snap ends.

Trying To Turn A New Leaf

So I'm trying to turn over a new leaf by keeping myself organized and energized. I would ultimately like to be going to bed at 11 and waking up at 7. Instead of what happens right now where I try and fall asleep at 11 and don't succeed till about 3 am. Then end up laying on the couch and watching the girls play instead of playing with them. Last night I took a couple sleeping pills and fell asleep at 11:30ish and was up around 7:30. Since I'm not a coffee drinker and since I'm cutting back on my Pepsi intake I'm really struggling. Hopefully it will only take a couple weeks and I will have this down pat.
As for organization. I have actually kept on the laundry since we have got back from Saskatchewan. I have never had more than 2 loads to do and I only ever do 1 a day. I also end up cleaning the girls room everyday. If I keep this up as I have been I can add a room every couple days or even weeks my house should be as Taylor would say shiny and pretty. Anyway just thought I do a quick post so I wouldn't fall asleep.

Backyardigans

Last night I took Taylor to see the Backyardigans at the Esplanade (it was actual theatre) with my friend Becky and Taylor's friend Brooklynne. I think it would have been great had I left getting the toys till the end. I bought Taylor a couple of puzzles and I got Eastynn a stuffed animal. As soon as she seen the puzzles she wanted to play with them, when i told her she had to wait till we got home she wanted to go home. She must have asked at least every 5 minutes if we could go home it was a very long 1.5 hour. But mom learned an important lesson NO TOYS TILL THE END. Anyway the parts where I could get her to watch the show she did enjoy the rest was blah. I will take her to another show like that but will do it a little differently next time. I took some pictures but it was with my phone and they are horrible. I will also take my camera next time and also probably take Eastynn.

2 Dates In 1 Week

Yeah that's right we enjoyed our date so much earlier in the week that we convinced my mom to watch the girls again while we went out for a couple of hours. This time we went bowling it was a lot of fun. I won 4 out of the 6 games. We are both paying for it today though. Oh well.
Today we also went swimming with the girls it was a lot of fun too. We seen Grandma Chisholm, Auntie Velvet, Uncle Darren, Uncle Colin, Logan they were all doing the hockey thing. Kennedy was swimming too. All the relatives came and waved to Taylor in the pool she really liked seeing everyone. And before we said Hi to Uncle Darren and Eastynn put her hands out and went and seen Uncle Darren which was nice. Eastynn had so much fun at the pool I don't ever really remember having that much fun laughing and playing ever before. Actually she has been very happy the last few days her mouth must not bugging her any more and we are all very thankful for that.

Walking.

Eastynn has been walking a lot lately. Its about a 50/50 split now which is awesome. Pretty soon she will be walking. But who knows with that little one I thought she'd be walking 3 months ago already. It still looks funny cause she is so small and she goes so slow she needs to catch her balance on almost ever step.

Date Night

Fabian and I went to the first movie we have seen since we were dating. Holy did we need that it was a great movie, we went and seen Juno and some how it made it as if we were dating again. I loved the movie it kind of makes me believe that would have been the 2 of us as if we were dating in high school. Paulie Bleeker the passive young man who loved his girl and Juno the witty smart alec who didn't see it at first. I loved every second of it. Going to always be on my top 10 list.

Good News

So the good news is there is nothing wrong with Eastynn except the fact she is teething. The bad news is she still have 13 left to come. It would be nice if they all came at once. Just kidding. I do although hope when she does get teeth she gets more than one at a time cause the poor girl just can't handle the pain.

Poor Girl

I really have no idea what is wrong with Eastynn but tonight was horrible once again. Tonight got so bad I phoned health link. I couldn't even hold her she was crying so hard that I couldn't hear the nurse. She was so upset she didn't know what she wanted. If she wanted up I picked her up then she would want down so I let her down just for her to realize nope she did want up. Poor little thing and she would flail and hit me just cause she didn't know what she wanted and I had no clue what she wanted at all. Fabian and I just sat the not knowing what to do. He finally was able to rock her till she calmed down. That was after she had some teething tablets.
The health link nurse said she needed to cry like she was for 2 hours before we took her in, wow 2 hours that would have drove me up the wall. We are still not sure if she is teething or if it is an earache some things she does make me think its an earache and others just teething. Hopefully if she is teething the teeth break through soon. I hope she can make it till Monday but if not we are taking her in tomorrow. I will also try and get her to nap a bit tomorrow. She didn't nap much today an hour maybe that is 2 hours short from a normal day. I just want to make my little one comfortable.

I Think I Got It

Sleep I think was the answer. Yesterday I put Eastynn down at 8:30 am and she slept till 10 and again at 1:30-3ish. It made a huge huge difference. I hope to maybe keep it up its nice anyway when Taylor has school we can both have a nap. I think Fabian is going to take Eastynn to the doctor on Monday. I even got Taylor to lay down for a nap today I hope this is something we can all keep up.

I Don't Even Know

I'm not even sure what is wrong with Eastynn right now hopefully we can get her into see the doctor soon. I can't even believe how much she cries although it is mostly in the morning and right before bed hopefully I can get to the bottom of it before then. I can't be sure if it is teething or an earache and a earache is not something I want to mess around with.
On another note she should be walking soon she is taking a few steps more everyday. Although I thought she'd be walking by 11 months, so what do I know.

Momma's Gonna Pull Her Hair Out

I have no idea what is the matter with Eastynn. She was up at 4am and then slept off and on till 6:30. That's when daddy normally gets up so while he showered I put her in front of the tv and opened the door to the bathroom and shut the door to my bedroom and got 1.5 hours of good sleep. But from the time Fabian and Taylor left this morning till 11:00 crying and whining non stop. I feel like I tried everything I gave her some tylenol and then when I had the chance some teething tablets (I did wait till it was safe) thank goodness the back of the teething tablets bottle says if your baby has been crying it may make them sleep. Here's hoping. I changed her diaper twice and I feed her twice. So I feel there is only so much I can do. She is feed, clean, and hopefully comfortable if she was in any pain. I think we were both getting mad at each other anyway so its a good thing she went down.

Back To School

Today was Taylor's first day back at school she had a good day so she said. Fabian actually straightened her hair and did a fantastic job, watch out Uncle Jason. (Just Kidding). Nothing really new other than that.
I went to Lethbridge this weekend for darts and did not bad joint 5th for singles and joint 3rd for ladies doubles both events I ran in to a wall I like to call Linda Ledingham. Dad and I didn't fair well once we made it to the knock outs but we did come out first in our section. The girls and Fabian did really well with out me too, which is a relief that means I can probably travel without them to tourney's. Although I love having them there it means I can't share the expense's with someone else like gas and hotel.

Sledding

Today we went for a little walk in the beautiful weather. I put Eastynn in her new sled and Taylor took Pebbles (our new old dog she lived with my parents for awhile). Eastynn didn't look to be enjoying it but as soon I talk to her she was all smiles.

I Guess Not

I was trying to wean Eastynn but looked at a website and realized that we are going to fast. They showed 8 signs that it is going to fast and Eastynn fits into 6 out of 8 of them so maybe I will go back to nursing her again and hope that it helps. Saturday might be hard as I'm leaving for Lethbridge at 6am and won't be back till around 5 or 6 on Sunday. She will manage though I think.
